The TAS1020 is a USB controller that is used in audio applications for connecting audio devices to computer systems. It supports high-speed USB connectivity and is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 standards. The TAS1020 features a built-in audio codec that provides high-quality audio playback and recording capabilities.This USB controller is capable of supporting multiple audio channels, allowing for stereo playback and recording as well as multi-channel output for surround sound applications. It also supports various audio formats including 16-bit PCM, 24-bit PCM, and compressed audio formats like MP3 and AAC.In addition to its audio capabilities, the TAS1020 also provides advanced USB functionality such as on-chip firmware for USB control, and support for USB audio class 1.0 and 2.0 specifications. It also features a flexible I2S interface, allowing for easy integration with a wide range of audio devices.
