The LM391N-80 is a monolithic IC designed to function as a LED driver for visualizing and monitoring analog voltage levels. It is a 18-pin dual in-line package (DIP) integrated circuit that can be used in a variety of applications such as audio level indicators, voltage level displays, and power analyzers.The LM391N-80 features ten comparators that are used to compare an input voltage to ten different voltage levels set by an internal voltage divider. Depending on the input voltage, one or more of the comparators will be activated, turning on corresponding LEDs in a bar graph or dot mode configuration.This IC has a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 25V and can drive LEDs with a current up to 30mA. It also has an adjustable voltage reference and adjustable brightness control to customize the display characteristics.The LM391N-80 is capable of driving both bar graph and dot mode displays, making it versatile for various visual monitoring applications. It is a reliable and cost-effective solution for projects that require a simple and efficient way to visualize analog voltage levels
