The BQ2407xT series of chargers and power management devices is designed for compact portable applications, offering integrated Li-ion charging and system power path management. With support for charge currents up to 1.5A and the ability to operate from USB ports or AC adapters, these devices are versatile and convenient for a range of uses. The input voltage range with over-voltage protection ensures compatibility with various adapters, and the accurate USB input current limit and start-up sequence meet USB-IF specifications. Dynamic power path management allows the system to be powered while simultaneously charging the battery, reducing the number of charge and discharge cycles and enabling the system to operate with a defective or absent battery pack. Additionally, the regulated system input enables instant system turn-on, even with a completely discharged battery, and the power-path management architecture allows the battery to supplement system current requirements when the adapter cannot deliver peak currents. With a three-phase battery charging process, internal temperature monitoring, high accuracy regulation loops, and programmable current and voltage limits, the BQ2407xT series offers comprehensive and efficient charging and power management solutions for portable devices
